How Long for Google SEO to Show Results?

This is something we always get asked by our new clients. SEO and the length of time it takes for a website to rank well on Google is something that can take between one month and 8 or 9 months depending on a number of different factors. The two primary factors for SEO are how “old” the site is and what level of competition there is between you and your online competitors (for keywords/phrases).

If you’re launching a website with a brand new domain name (www.yourcompany.ie), it will likely be difficult short term to gain the necessary "trust" for rankings for broad generic competitive search terms for realistically at least three months, but often closer to six to nine months. However other factors on SEO and the development of your website affect this too…for eg if you publish useful content appropriate to your area, you could see SEO results sooner.

It should go without saying, that if your technical infrastructure doesn't facilitate good crawling of your pages by Google and easy capture of your content, you've got no chance at all to start with!!.
